Seeking Alpha pricing is simple once you lay it out: a free Basic account, Premium for individual investors, Alpha Picks for curated stock picks, a bundle of the two and PRO for professionals. What confuses people is the mix of list prices, first-year offers, trials and renewal terms.
This page puts every current price in one place, explains how renewals and refunds work and shows what past Black Friday deals looked like. All figures come from Seeking Alpha's own offer pages and help center, checked in October 2026.

Basic (Free)
The free Basic account gives you one premium article a month, portfolio tracking with real-time alerts, basic tools and real-time prices. It is a good way to start, but most of Seeking Alpha's analysis and its Quant Ratings require Premium. See Seeking Alpha free vs Premium.
Premium
Premium lists at $299 a year. Seeking Alpha's standing offer, available through our link, takes $30 off the first year for a price of $269, after which it renews at the list price. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial first. Current offers show Premium as an annual plan, without a monthly option.
Premium includes unlimited premium articles, earnings call transcripts with audio, Quant Ratings and factor grades, SA stock ratings, author performance, dividend scores, earnings and dividend forecast visuals, peer comparisons and ten years of downloadable financials.
Alpha Picks
Alpha Picks lists at $499 a year. It delivers two Strong Buy-rated picks a month from Seeking Alpha's quant system, full portfolio access, Hold and Sell alerts and member webinars. As of October 2026, our offer link shows Alpha Picks at $449 a year; confirm the price at checkout. Read Is Alpha Picks worth it? before buying.

See Alpha Picks →The Premium + Alpha Picks Bundle
Seeking Alpha's help center lists the bundle at $718 for the first year, saving $80 compared with $798 for both at list price. After the first year, each service renews at its then-current individual price. Bundle pricing can vary by offer. Details in our bundle discount guide.
PRO
PRO lists at $2,400 a year. Checkout has shown an introductory paid trial of $99 for one month, after which it renews at $2,400 a year unless cancelled. PRO includes everything in Premium plus features aimed at professionals, such as top analysts, coverage of stocks without Wall Street analysts, rating upgrades and downgrades and short ideas.
Renewals, Cancellation and Refunds
Seeking Alpha subscriptions auto-renew. According to its cancellation and refund policy, fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in writing, paid-trial fees are non-refundable, and you can cancel at any time with cancellation taking effect at the end of the current billing period. Each person gets one free trial per service per lifetime. A 30-day limited money-back guarantee applies only to first-time annual Investing Group subscriptions. Our cancellation guide covers the details.
Past Black Friday Prices
Seeking Alpha's biggest discounts have historically come around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. As reported by third-party deal sites: in 2024, Premium was $209, Alpha Picks $359 and the bundle $509; in 2025, Premium was $239, Alpha Picks $399, the bundle $574 and PRO $1,920. As of mid-October 2026, Seeking Alpha has not announced a 2026 Black Friday sale. See Seeking Alpha Black Friday deal for updates.
Should You Wait for Black Friday?
If you would use Premium now, the $269 offer plus a free trial means you start getting value immediately. If you are not in a hurry and are comfortable with uncertainty, waiting for a possible seasonal deal could save more, but there is no guarantee of the size or timing of a 2026 sale.
Is There a Seeking Alpha Promo Code?
We have not verified any working promo or coupon code. Seeking Alpha's discounts are delivered through offer links and landing pages rather than codes. See our promo code guide.
How Seeking Alpha Pricing Compares
For context, Seeking Alpha Premium's $299 list price sits close to other well-known research subscriptions: Motley Fool Stock Advisor lists at $199 a year, while Zacks Premium and Morningstar Investor list at $249 each. Data-heavy tools like Stock Rover start higher on paid plans. Seeking Alpha pricing is therefore mid-market for what it offers, and the $269 first-year offer brings it closer to rivals. See Seeking Alpha alternatives for the full comparison.
Which Plan Gives the Best Value?
For most individual investors, Premium offers the best value per dollar because it covers research on thousands of stocks. Alpha Picks makes sense when you want curated ideas and will invest enough that the fee is a small percentage. The bundle is best for people who want both, and PRO only makes sense for professionals who will use its extra features.
Seeking Alpha Pricing: Our Take
For most individual investors, the right Seeking Alpha plan is Premium at $269 for the first year, with the free trial to confirm the fit. Add Alpha Picks or switch to the bundle if you want curated ideas. PRO is for professionals.

How We Researched This Page
We built this comparison from each company's own pricing, plan and help pages, checked in October 2026. Seeking Alpha figures (Premium $299 list, $269 first year through our link, 7-day free trial for new subscribers, Alpha Picks $499 list with $449 shown via our offer link as of Oct 2026, bundle $718 first year, PRO $2,400 list) come from Seeking Alpha's offer pages and help center. Where a competitor's page could not be read directly, we say so and either describe the feature in general terms or link to the official page rather than guess. Performance figures quoted by any vendor are that vendor's own claims, not independent audits. Prices and features change, so always confirm the final price at checkout before you subscribe.
