Seeking Alpha Premium features are the reason most people pay for the platform, but the list on the sales page is compressed into short bullet points. This guide expands each feature using Seeking Alpha's subscriptions page and help center, explains what it is useful for, and notes what Premium does not include. Prices: $299 a year list, $269 for the first year through our partner link, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

- Unlimited access to analysis and earnings call transcripts, including audio

- Author and article performance metrics
- Quant Ratings comparing growth, value, profitability and earnings against industry peers
- Exclusive, proprietary dividend scores
- Data visualisations for earnings and dividend forecasts
- Peer comparisons
- Ten years of downloadable financial statements
The help center adds stock and ETF screeners and AI-powered research tools, naming Virtual Analyst Reports and Earnings Call Insights, and describes in-depth analysis on over 4,000 stocks and ETFs.
Feature by Feature
Unlimited analysis
Basic users get one Premium article a month. Premium removes the cap, so you can read both bull and bear cases on the same ticker. This is the single biggest practical change for most subscribers.
Earnings call transcripts with audio
Full transcripts and recordings let you hear management's answers to analyst questions. Earnings Call Insights summarises calls with AI. More in Seeking Alpha earnings call transcripts.
Quant Ratings and factor grades
The Quant Rating compares a stock with its sector peers on more than 100 metrics and lands on Strong Buy through Strong Sell. Factor grades from A+ to F for Value, Growth, Profitability, Momentum and EPS Revisions show what drives the score. See Quant Ratings explained and how accurate the Quant Rating is.
Dividend grades
Four sector-relative grades for Dividend Safety, Growth, Yield and Consistency. Seeking Alpha says the Safety grade uses 13 underlying financial metrics. Full guide: Seeking Alpha dividend grades.
Stock and ETF screeners
The ratings screener filters by Quant Ratings, author ratings, Wall Street ratings, factor grades, dividend grades, earnings and more, and you can save screens. Full guide: Seeking Alpha stock screener.
Author performance metrics
Premium shows how each author's past ideas performed, which helps you decide whose analysis to weight.
Financials and peer comparisons
Ten years of downloadable statements and side-by-side peer tables replace a lot of manual spreadsheet work.
Portfolio health check and alerts
The App Store listing mentions a portfolio health check and warnings. Combined with alerts on your holdings, this is how many subscribers use Premium day to day.
Virtual Analyst Reports
An AI-generated research summary that Seeking Alpha lists among Premium's tools. Treat it as a starting point, not a recommendation.
Pay $269, not $299, in year one
Partner pricing applies automatically through the link; the 7-day trial comes first.

Which Features Matter Most?
For income investors, dividend grades and payout history. For stock pickers, Quant Ratings, factor grades and unlimited analysis. For fundamental analysts, transcripts and ten-year financials. If none of those would change how you invest, the free Basic account may be enough.
How to Test Premium Features in the Trial
Load your current holdings into a portfolio on day one. Check each stock's Quant Rating and weakest factor grade, read one bullish and one bearish article, and if you hold dividend payers, check their Safety grade. By day five you will know whether these features change your decisions. Cancel at least one day before the trial ends if not.
Premium Features by Investor Type
Long-term stock pickers tend to lean on factor grades and author analysis, because they want to understand why a company scores well before committing for years. Income investors spend most of their time on the dividend scorecard and payout history. Active traders use upgrades in Quant Ratings, momentum grades and news alerts. Fundamental analysts open the ten-year financial statements and transcripts first. None of these groups uses every feature, which is normal; the useful question is whether the two or three features you would use weekly justify the price.

How We Researched This Page
We built this comparison from each company's own pricing, plan and help pages, checked in October 2026. Seeking Alpha figures (Premium $299 list, $269 first year through our link, 7-day free trial for new subscribers, Alpha Picks $499 list with $449 shown via our offer link as of Oct 2026, bundle $718 first year, PRO $2,400 list) come from Seeking Alpha's offer pages and help center. Where a competitor's page could not be read directly, we say so and either describe the feature in general terms or link to the official page rather than guess. Performance figures quoted by any vendor are that vendor's own claims, not independent audits. Prices and features change, so always confirm the final price at checkout before you subscribe.
