If you want to know how to cancel Alpha Picks, the process itself takes a couple of minutes in Seeking Alpha's Account Settings. What matters more is timing: Seeking Alpha's policy says cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and that fees are non-refundable unless stated otherwise in writing. This guide gives the steps and the rules from Seeking Alpha's own help center and terms.
How to Cancel Alpha Picks: Steps
- Log in to your Seeking Alpha account on the website.
- Click your profile icon and choose "Account Settings".
- Find your subscriptions; click "Show Details" if they are hidden.
- Locate Alpha Picks and choose to cancel.
- Confirm, and keep the confirmation email.
Seeking Alpha's help center says Account Settings also shows your trial end date, next billing date, renewal date and cost, so check the renewal date before and after cancelling. The Terms of Use also allow cancellation by email at subscriptions@seekingalpha.com.
If you subscribed to Alpha Picks inside the iPhone app (it is listed there as a $499.00 in-app purchase), the subscription is billed by Apple. Cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings instead.
When Cancellation Takes Effect

The written 30-day money-back guarantee in Seeking Alpha's policy applies only to first-time annual Investing Group subscribers, not to Alpha Picks. See Seeking Alpha refund policy.
Cancelling Alpha Picks but Keeping Premium
If you have both, Seeking Alpha's help center confirms that Premium and Alpha Picks work as stand-alone subscriptions and you can cancel one without losing functionality of the other. Cancellation takes effect at renewal and you keep full access until your current subscription expires. This applies to bundle subscribers as well; the bundle help page says renewals are at the then-current individual price of each subscription.
Before You Cancel: Three Checks
1. Review your open positions
Alpha Picks sends Hold and Sell alerts when ratings change. Once your access ends, you will no longer receive them for picks you still own. Decide how you will manage those positions, for example by checking their Quant Ratings in Premium or setting your own rules.
2. Compare the fee with your allocation
On a large stock allocation, $449–$499 a year is a small percentage. On a small one, it can outweigh any edge. Our is Alpha Picks worth it guide works through the maths.
3. Consider Premium alone
If you like the Quant system but do not need picks, Premium gives you Quant Ratings, the screener and analysis at $299 list ($269 first year through our link). See Premium vs Alpha Picks.
Keep the research, drop the picks
Premium: $269 for the first year via our link (list $299), with a 7-day trial for new subscribers.

You can subscribe again at any time. Note that free trials are limited to one per service per lifetime, and pricing will be whatever is current then: $499 list today, $449 via our offer link as of October 2026.
Rejoining later?
Alpha Picks is $499/yr list; $449 via our offer link as of Oct 2026.

Contact subscriptions@seekingalpha.com with your invoice promptly. Seeking Alpha's price-update notices also list a customer service phone number, 1-347-509-6837. Refunds outside the written policy are at Seeking Alpha's discretion.
Cancelling Within the Bundle
If you bought the Premium + Alpha Picks bundle, Seeking Alpha's bundle help page says future renewals are at the then-current individual price for each subscription. That means after cancelling Alpha Picks, your Premium renewal would be at Premium's individual price, currently $299 list. Check your renewal amounts in Account Settings after making changes so there are no surprises.
Downgrading Instead of Leaving
Some members cancel Alpha Picks but keep Premium so they can keep monitoring the Quant Ratings of picks they still hold. Others keep Alpha Picks and drop Premium. Think about which tool you actually opened most often over the past few months.
Our Take
Cancelling Alpha Picks is quick; the decision is the hard part. Because fees are non-refundable, the best time to cancel is shortly before renewal, after you have used the full term. Plan how you will handle the picks you still own, decide whether Premium alone covers your needs, and keep the confirmation email.

How We Researched This Page
We built this comparison from each company's own pricing, plan and help pages, checked in October 2026. Seeking Alpha figures (Premium $299 list, $269 first year through our link, 7-day free trial for new subscribers, Alpha Picks $499 list with $449 shown via our offer link as of Oct 2026, bundle $718 first year, PRO $2,400 list) come from Seeking Alpha's offer pages and help center. Where a competitor's page could not be read directly, we say so and either describe the feature in general terms or link to the official page rather than guess. Performance figures quoted by any vendor are that vendor's own claims, not independent audits. Prices and features change, so always confirm the final price at checkout before you subscribe.
